As a young female leading a multi-million dollar company, in a male dominated industry, Leonie is passionate about encouraging other women to step into their power.
Leonie’s career started 6 years ago as a graduate in management consulting, several years later she was 2-IC to a General Manager running change projects at a multi-million dollar organization, now Leonie runs a multi-million dollar organization.
Growing up as the daughter of Greek and Nigerian parents who moved to Australia with very little money to create a new life for themselves, Leonie has witnessed first-hand the power of hard work, commitment and discipline. Leonie’s parents also modelled to her the value of giving back, by contributing what small amounts they could afford to family back home in Nigeria and Greece.
Non-profit work feeds her soul – outside of her professional career, Leonie established a fundraiser, which in its first year raised over $60,000. She is a board member at Little Dreamers and has mentored a number of successful female entrepreneurs.
Leonie is passionate about using the lessons she has learnt through her corporate, entrepreneurial and philanthropic ventures to support other women who are aiming to re-invigorate their career objectives.
Leonie is available to speak on a variety of topics including women in business and entrepreneurship, challenges faced by young philanthropists, coping with burnout, and self-development as a pathway to success.
